🌿 Conifer Care – A Brand Born from a Community’s Silent Struggle


My Name is Maham Shafiq, Gold Medalist in M.Phil Pharmaceutics from The Punjab University, and the co founder of Conifer Care.

This brand wasn’t created in a lab or a marketing meeting. It was born from something real — a problem I saw in the lives of so many around me.
Growing up in a closely-knit community, I noticed how common skin issues had become — especially among young girls and women. Acne, pigmentation, eczema, early aging — they weren’t just skin-deep problems. I saw bright, confident women slowly withdrawing from social gatherings, covering their faces, avoiding cameras, and losing their self-esteem.
One memory I’ll never forget is from a local women’s health camp I volunteered at during my studies. A teenage girl, no more than 16, broke down in tears while talking about how her skin condition made her skip school, stop going out, and even refuse to look in the mirror. Her words still echo in my mind:
“Api, mein normal dikhna chahti hoon… bas thori si khud pehchan chahiye.”
("I just want to look normal... I just want a little bit of self-worth.")

That Moment Changed Me.

I realized this wasn’t just one girl’s story — it was the silent struggle of thousands. And I knew I had the tools, the education, and the heart to help.

During my M.Phil, I dedicated my research to developing safe, science-backed, and gentle formulations, inspired by natural healing. I didn’t want to create just another product — I wanted to create hope in a bottle.

And that’s how Conifer Care was born — a brand made for real people, with real concerns, and real results.

The name "Conifer" comes from the evergreen conifer tree — known for its healing, resilience, and strength. Just like that tree, our products aim to restore, protect, and strengthen your skin — so you don’t just look good, you feel confident and seen.
